This weekend was another exciting one for The Aleit Group. While the events team were hard at work executing a private cocktail event for the Cape Town Jazz Festival, the weddings team executed one of the most memorable and awe-inspiring weddings ever to be hosted at Laurent at Lourensford Wine Estate. We recently posted a few teasers of the annual Mining Indaba Cocktail Event, and are so excited to finally be able to share a few pics of the event with you. Inspired by an urban forest, organic elements such as hanging gardens suspended from the ceiling, cork menus, astro turf flooring and stylishly woven furniture adorned the contemporary setting of a photographic studio. The Pasella Viewer Activation Event was an evening where stylish elegance met South African Heritage in an unforgettable night of simple beauty. Guests arrived to a sophisticated canapé style pre-dinner “braai on the stoep,” allowing them to indulge in iconic South African flavours, while the upbeat sound of traditional Cape Malay Minstrels enhanced the festive atmosphere.
The Aleit team has experieced a very humbling journey through Zambia alongside our beautiful couple, Brendan and Rachael, who are involved in a charity called Health Hope Zambia. We joined forces with them to lend a helping hand by not only building and painting many desks for a rural Zambian school but also feeding more than 800 grateful school children.
The 16th of January saw “who is who” of the music industry in Johannesburg come together at the stunning Summer Place venue in Hyde Park for the much awaited and anticipated nominees announcement of the 12th Metro FM Awards. Guests were welcomed in true VIP style on the black carpet by a jazz duo serenating with soft jazzy music leading into the poolside setting.
