This Italian couple is now based in Stellenbosch and they run the wildly popular and successful Lecca il Gelato franchise here - truly one of my favourite spots.
Today we celebrate each stylish, fine-looking groom that has walked through our doors. Nothing like a well-dressed husband-to-be to complement the perfectly styled bride on his side!
Can it be? Can a wedding be too pretty and a bride and groom too perfect together? Liesl and Andrew's English / Delft-inspired wedding at MolenVliet Wine and Guest Estate redefined romance for us. The royal pure white ceremony was followed by an authentic English Tea Party (because Andrew is British). The illuminated blue Delft inspired reception was more than jaw-droppingly beautiful and, upon entering the venue, guests were whisked away to another time... of regal elegance and charm.
The story of Susie and Christo is simply so beautiful, one cant hide the fact that they are meant to be together! In fact they have been a couple since their teenage years. Their relationship started many many years ago when they both were still youngsters and when Christo (originating from Patensie in the Eastern Cape!) left for the UK and met Susie (a pure British lass from The Isle of Man...
Amber and Robert’s wedding was celebrated at the beautiful Clouds Estate, located on the picturesque Helshoogte Pass, just outside Stellenbosch.
Historic Grande Provence Wine Estate was the perfect setting for this intimate high summer wedding, coordinated by Johnny from The Aleit Group! Meg and Darren invited forty of their closest friends and family to take part in their wedding fête... and we just loved co-ordinating it! Smaller weddings offer you so much more room to play around with those special touches and elements that easily are lost at events of a larger scale.
Natural hues with splashes of plum was the chosen colour palette for vibrant and fun couple Andrea and Michael.

Our trip down wedding memory lane continues with the countryside wedding of breathtaking Alexandra and handsome Groom Paul. The quaint chapel situated on their gorgeous farm, Paul Cluver Wine Estate in Grabouw, provided the picture perfect setting for their union.
Lovely Diana and Nicolas married at the ever popular and in the unbelievable Tintswalo Atlantic, possibly the most delightful setting when it comes to sea views, privacy and natural untouched beauty. Speaking of natural beauty, what a delight for the eyes this couple is! Well done, our very own wizard, Johnny for designing and executing a wedding for 87 guests at this intimate venue without a glitch!
Oh dear…. goose bumps again! Judith and Bart got married at the breathtakingly beautiful Webersburg Wine Estate in February this year. An intimate wedding with only 40 guests and undeniably an occasion filled with love and laughter. The Aleit Group was there to ensure each moment was handled with the utmost care to detail and Lizelle Lotter captured some remarkable moments. We just love looking at these pictures (clearly Judith and Bart adore each other!) and you have to love Judith’s beautiful dress and shoes!

Far from the madding crowd, some 1.5 hours from Cape Town in the sleepy Overberg, you'll find Greyton, a peaceful and picturesque village at the foot of the majestic Sonderend mountain range.
On 20 March this year a striking bride, Mariette and her handsome groom, Gert tied the knot in a very unique way in De Waterkant and the Cape Quarter in Cape Town. The pre-ceremony was hosted at the ever popular Andiamo in De Waterkant, followed by the ceremony at The Sky Bar in The Village Lodge. Guests were then wined and dined at Madame Restaurant in Napier Street, followed by the after-party at Cru Bar! Wow! What a night! Mariette looked more than beautiful in her DD Couture dress... sigh... une vraie jeune mariée francaise!

The Aleit Academy Graduation took place last week Tuesday, 20th March at the stunning 401 Rozendal. As it was the 1st Group of The Aleit Academy advancing to their careers, after three years of intensive studying, the evening was all the more special. Founder and CEO of The Aleit Group, Aleit Swanepoel, had to be present at the wedding of lovely couple, Mariëtte and Gert. Their union and celebrations were hosted in the Quaint de Waterkant in Cape Town. So, magically FJS and Aleit prepared the following very special video for the students. We congratulate Johan, Inecke, Joanie, Leana and Lana. The shoot took place at brand new venue, Strandloper Sea Villas, Paternoster, whilst Aleit was on a site inspection. So special!
The Aleit Academy Photo Shoot of 2012 was a big one with 56 students to be exact!
