Holland remains a true favourite of mine and is probably part of the reason why the wedding of Anita and Hans was such a pleasure to plan. It really was refreshing to use purple on champagne for the reception decor. The African choir was truly the highlight during the Bride’s walk down the aisle.

The beautiful Consecrated ceremony for Annemarie and Etienne was held in a quaint stone chapel in the Cape Town suburb Vredehoek, with Table Mountain as backdrop.

Laetitia and Lloyd decided Cape Town city centre was the place to be and jazzed it up with a ceremony on a yacht with the beautiful city as their backdrop.

I always linger a while at this wedding when paging through images of past celebrations.

Today we think back to Karin and Richard’s very off-beat and “rainy” urban wedding day in Cape Town.
